On March 19th, 2024, Cathy Simpson was fired from her position as CEO of Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library in Ontario, Canada after writing an article supporting library neutrality and pluralism. She was also demonized for being a member of FAIR.
Cathy’s experience has energized FAIR to take on the fight for library neutrality, diversity of thought, and the freedom to read. Help librarians like Cathy sustain their mission by donating below.
