David King is an IT professional from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with an MS in Information Security and a passion for preserving the civil liberties afforded to all Americans, and expanding them for those in other countries. His previous career, a decade-long immersion in teaching and school administration in the People’s Republic of China, made clear to him the importance of building a truly inclusive society based on mutual trust, equality before the law, the sanctity of the individual, an innocent-until-proven-guilty mentality, and elevation of truth over narrative.
David started as a member of the Southwest Pennsylvania chapter, and then helped build FAIR’s chapter network and pioneered FAIR’s expansion into Canada. Now, he manages all aspects of FAIR’s technology platforms and continues to recruit new chapter leaders.
David is also involved with the Institute for Liberal Values, and is a co-founder of the Society for the Ethical Practice of Psychotherapy.
FAIR is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing civil rights and liberties for all, and promoting a common culture based on fairness, understanding, and humanity.
