Leigh Ann first became involved with FAIR as a co-leader of the Indiana chapter in June of 2021. When the legal team announced it would hire a staff attorney, Leigh Ann jumped at the opportunity to join the FAIR staff. In March of 2023, Leigh Ann became FAIR’s Director of Legal Advocacy. Her work on the legal team includes assessing civil and constitutional rights violations and coordinating litigation efforts with FAIR’s network of attorneys. Leigh Ann also reviews incident reports filed via FAIRtransparency.org and sends legal letters to offending institutions in an effort to correct various legal violations.
Leigh Ann graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then went on to receive her law degree from Indiana University School of Law. Leigh Ann lives in central Indiana with her husband, three children, and two dogs. Her family loves snow skiing and all types of water sports.
