FAIR Urges DOE to Suspend Title IX Changes

Sweeping changes were made to Title IX rules, prohibiting discrimination based on sex in federally funded educational programs.

FAIR supports true inclusion toward any group, but we are also concerned about the implications of these changes when it comes to sex-segregated spaces.

The changes to the Title IX rules are set to take effect on August 1st, 2024. In the letter below, we urge the Department of Education to suspend the changes until all legal challenges to them are resolved.
