The Day of Silence is coming on April 12 this year, and your school may have activities planned for it.

FAIR supports raising awareness of true injustices toward any group, but we also support allowing people to disagree with protests or hold alternative perspectives without being subjected to harassment and bullying.  To that end, we support students’ rights to abstain from participating in activities related to the Day of Silence, and hope that schools will work hard to protect students’ rights to free expression and inquiry regardless of the position they take on the issues.
