A professor at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh indicated support for the idea that “white people should commit suicide as an ethical act”. A charitable reading of the statement would be that he meant that in a figurative sense, as a call to eliminate racial distinctions. However, the wording itself doesn’t lend itself to a charitable interpretation.
