We’re excited to announce the launch of statewide FAIR initiatives, and are extending an invitation to any FAIR member who wants to help on a specific area of interest and make a difference in Colorado!
Statewide working groups that will be established include:
- Colorado FAIR in Education
- Colorado FAIR in Medicine
- Colorado FAIR in the Workplace
- Colorado FAIR in the Arts
We’ll be launching Education and Medicine first, and will host virtual open houses to provide you the opportunity to learn more about possible initiatives specific to these working groups. If you find yourself inspired to apply your passion and knowledge to one of these working groups – which we hope you will! – and you want to ramp-up your volunteering efforts, you’ll be provided with a link to an application form.
The open house for FAIR in Medicine will be on September 28 at 7:00pm Mountain, and you can RSVP here. While the Hippocratic Oath promotes the use of knowledge – both science and wisdom – to heal the sick and prevent disease and promotes a common humanity for all current and future generations, we recognize that parts of our current system may not always live up to these tenets. If you are a health care practitioner, administrator, or student, and you wish to be a part of a community in which pro-human principles are promoted and shared, you should attend our open house!
The open house for FAIR in Education will be on October 4 at 7:00pm Mountain, and you can RSVP here. If you are a parent, grandparent, teacher, administrator, student, and/or a concerned citizen who wants to contribute to creating a culture of fairness, understanding and humanity in all educational environments – both primary and higher-ed – you should attend our open house!
If you’re unable to attend the online event and are interested in viewing a recording, please RSVP and we’ll email you a link to the recording.
We look forward to connecting with you soon!
